The most popular ports in Naples are Molo Beverello, Calata Porta di Massa, Mergellina and Porto di Pozzuoli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your schedule <\/strong>also includes a couple of days to visit the islands<\/strong>, this article would come in handy to understand how to go around and reach the main port: Molo Beverello<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the most favoured port \u2013 along with Calata Porta di Massa <\/strong>port \u2013 for one day trips or longer journeys<\/strong>, to Capri, Ischia, Procida, but also Ponza and Ventotene<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is also where Metr\u00f2 del Mare<\/strong> set out. It connects Naples to Cilento and Amalfi Coast<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Molo Beverello<\/strong> is just across Maschio Angioino<\/strong>, and it is connected to the port of Calata Porta di Massa<\/strong>. It is 1 km away<\/strong>, and you could reach it by a free shuttle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You have different options to<\/strong> reach the port<\/strong>, according to the means of transport you would choose to go to Naples<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From our rooms in Napoliving<\/strong>, you could also reach the port by walking<\/strong>. If you are going to stay with us<\/strong>, you would save some time in your schedule to visit the city<\/strong>, but also to embark for the islands<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Napoliving to the Port of Naples<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our building is located on Corso Umberto<\/strong>, and it is only 1 km away from the Port of Naples<\/strong> \u2013 a 10 minutes walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you walk out the front door, you take a left and reach Piazza Bovio<\/strong>, and then you walk on Via Agostino De Pretis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of the street, you will be in Piazza Municipio<\/strong> which you would recognise from the near Maschio Angioino<\/strong>. From there, you should walk towards the sea<\/strong>, and you will notice the entrance to the Port of Naples, Molo Beverello<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, if you come by plane<\/strong> and you need to go to the Port as your first stop<\/strong>, you should follow the directions below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Capodichino Airport to the Port of Naples<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Once you land at Capodichino Airport<\/strong>, you can take the \u2018Alibus\u2019 line to reach Molo Beverello<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route is Airport\/Station\/Port and backwards, it leaves every 20 minutes and it takes around 40 minutes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The price for a ticket is \u20ac5<\/strong>, and you can purchase it on board<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alibus stops right in front of the Port of Naples<\/strong> and it goes on to Calata Porta di Massa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On ANM official website<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 the local bus service operator \u2013 you would find all information about departure, stops and where to buy tickets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you come to Naples by train<\/strong>, you can find the directions to reach the Port from the train station <\/strong>below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Naples Central Station to the Port of Naples<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

From Naples Central Station, in Piazza Garibaldi<\/strong>, you have three different options that will take you to the Port of Naples: by walking, by Alibus, or by underground.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you choose to walk, Naples Central Station is 3 km away from Molo Beverello<\/strong>. It will not be tiring, since you would walk on a straight road<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you are on Corso Umberto I<\/strong>, you would need to walk all the way down to Piazza Bovio<\/strong>, then take Via De Pretis and reach Piazza Municipio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the Alibus<\/strong>, the route is the same<\/strong>, but instead of taking the bus at the airport, you would wait for it at the stop in Piazza Garibaldi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your choice is the underground<\/strong>, you would need to take Linea 1 from the Central Station to Piscinola, and get down at the Piazza Municipio stop<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lastly, if you come to Naples by car<\/strong>, you would find the directions to reach the Port from the motorway A3 <\/strong>below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From motorway A3 to the Port of Naples<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

If you choose to come to Naples by car<\/strong>, and your first stop will be one of the islands<\/strong>, you would need to reach Molo Beverello<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
